Tram 45 in Bucharest (Jan, 2019)
Travelling for my work duties by the tram 45 in Bucharest. A shaking vehicle is always a challenge for drawing and ends up with hard to control line work. It seems that the passenger in front of me is going to an exam as he is trying to learn something by heart. He opens to read then closes his notebook to repeat. I can relate to such kind of last-minute learning, Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t.

Bucharest North railway station (Jan, 2019)
A brief sketching session at Bucharest North railway station while it was snowing in the morning. Some snowflakes fell on paper melting and smudging the ink, creating tiny blots. Passengers rush in and out of the trains and so do I as the trains can depart at any time. Before I found some colors in my bag pack the middle one already left.
Seneca AntiCafe in Bucharest (Jan, 2019)
Seneca AntiCafe in Bucharest is an informal library where I found some good books about art to browse. After switching a book about composition to one about the center of interest I decided to capture a view in the Silence room.
Putul lui Zamfir (Zamfir’s Well) Street in Bucharest (Jan, 2019)
This time sketching at Putul lui Zamfir (Zamfir’s Well) Street in Bucharest. Trying to use more traditional media, such as charcoal and pastel in this case. I have been relying too much on fineliners and markers lately. Perhaps it is much easier to carry them everywhere.
