Plein air drawing in the Village Museum of Bucharest
Excited about this museum since I visited it first time in 1996, when I was 14 and visited Bucharest for the first time as a tourist. After that school trip, Village Museum and Science Museum, Grigore Antipa, remained vividly in my memory. At Science Museum I was watching curiously and furtively possibly art students who were drawing from life different exhibited animals. A very secret dream sprouts, to come back to Bucharest and draw. It starts raining sparingly. Some raindrops fall on paper and smudge some ink. The smell of fresh grass, blossomed trees, wood and bird chirping is comforting.
